Russian Dialect Coaching for Actors

Russian is beautiful but not an easy language. Actors who don’t speak it may struggle during their audition or while acting on set. There may be a role where the actor has to portray a Russian character or embody an English/French character who speaks some Russian. Imagine, on top of learning the lines and working on excellent performance, the actor has to learn a completely new language, be able to remember all the lines, and has to deliver them smoothly.

Dialect coaching lessons can help tremendously prepare actors to perform in the Russian language or with a Russian accent. This will alleviate stress and help them to perform to the best of their acting ability.

Natallia

Natallia is a native Russian language speaker, who was born in Belarus. She has been living in Montreal, Canada, for a long time now, and she speaks English and French.

What makes Natallia a great dialect coach is her experience in teaching in various industries, working as an educator, as well as her experience working for Film, TV, and Commercial productions as an actress. Natallia has successfully coached a few actors already.

Natallia loves teaching and she is happy to offer private dialect coaching services for actors.

Initiation package

Private coaching includes the following in the Initiation package:

• Reviewing of the script or sides
  

• Translating it from English or French to Russian (if needed)
  

• Providing correct pronunciation in a written form
  

• Providing an audio file with correct pronunciation
  

• 1 hour of phone or Zoom coaching (included in this package)
  

This package must be purchased before adding other packages. The coach has to review the script and prepare the material for the actor’s learning.

Practice Hours

If the actor requires additional time to practice, the Practice Hours can be added to the Initiation package.

On Set Coaching

If a production company requires the coach to come on set to support the actor during filming, it can be arranged.
